F+C INTERNS

Form+Content Gallery is a thirteen member owned and operated collective that uses its space and resources to nurture diverse artistic practice and dialogue through exhibition and paired events. College students and young professionals have gained practical work experience as Form+Content interns since our inaugural exhibition in 2007. The Internship Program gives interns in-depth exposure to the workings of of a collective gallery and practical training in gallery practices. Interns work in the gallery along side gallery members on installation and de-installation of exhibitions; work with members and guest curators on new exhibitions; assist members with press releases, press packets and invitation mailings; archive F+C press; assist with gallery events, mailing lists, gallery sitting and attend the collectives monthly meetings.

The goal of our internship program is to shape a real world experience for our interns that aids them as they move into careers in the arts. Though F+C internships are unpaid, we do participate with the interns college or university program to provide internships for college credit. We are grateful to our interns for the exceptional service that they have provided us.
