Stephanie M. Thompson is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. She received her BFA in painting and drawing and continues to focus on studying the intricacies of large-scale abstract drawing with charcoal and mixed media. As a competitive cyclist, many of the themes in Stephanie's work are closely related to her experiences traveling and racing throughout the country. Stephanie plans to pursue her graduate degree in drawing and hopes to expand her knowledge of art through teaching and arts-outreach activities.
