Form+ Content Gallery presents planet waves, an exhibition of paintings by Howard Oransky. The exhibition consists of seven artworks, made with oil-on-canvas, on the theme of water as a metaphor of experience. The exhibition is anchored by one large Howard Oransky planet waves 2 diptych (double-paneled artwork) measuring 8 feet high by 12 feet wide, placed on the back wall of the gallery. Six smaller diptychs, three on each side of the gallery, complete the installation. The paintings are composed of many small gestures that together form a system of color, light and movement. For Oransky, painting is like an ocean -- an endless expanse of possibilities. This exhibition is dedicated with love to the memory of Jacob Igra.
